On June 9, Tehran express bus (BRT) line no. 1 drivers staged a strike at 5:00 a.m. by not starting the buses at the terminal. The workers were protesting the revisions to their working hours. It took the drivers 20 minutes to reach their demands discarding the revisions and getting their old working hours back.

Taking the buses out of the depot, the drivers simultaneously shout slogans in support of Mansour Osaloo, the leader of their union, and called for his immediate and unconditional release. The company security took videos of the drivers exiting the depot and shouting slogans in their support of Osaloo.
