Reza Shahabi is still in jail!
Reza was arrested June 12 , 2010. His “CRIME” like other Vahed Syndicate activists , Mansour Osanloo, Ebrahim Madadi and others, was his role in organizing the magnificent strike of 2006 for better wages and working conditions, as well as creating a independent workers union.
We demand emmidiate release of Reza, Mnsour, Ebrahim and all other labour activists.
It is now four month since Behnam was arrested. His bail was set for $100000Despite it is a month since this huge amount was raised, the authorities have refused to release him. In protest against the constant physical as well as psychological pressure and uncertainty regarding his case, Behnam has gone on hunger strike. We need all hands on deck to put pressure on Islamic regime to release this well known, much loved labour, children rights activist.
